Deuteronomy 8:5 (NKJV) “You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.”
Job 5:17–18 (NKJV) ““Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.”
Proverbs 10:17 (NKJV) “He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.”
Isaiah 38:15–17 (NKJV) ““What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul. O Lord, by these things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live.
