What does the Bible say about Holiness?

Leviticus 11:44–45 (NKJV) For I am the Lord your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

1 Corinthians 1:30 (NKJV) But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—”

Romans 6:22 (NKJV) But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.”

Romans 12:1–2 (NKJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

2 Corinthians 7:1 (NKJV) Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

Colossians 3:1–2 (NKJV) If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Colossians 3:17 (NKJV) And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV) Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:”

1 Peter 1:15–16 (NKJV) but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.””

1 John 2:5–6 (NKJV) But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
