What does the Bible say about Rebellion?

Exodus 23:21 (NKJV) Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him.

Deuteronomy 31:27 (NKJV) for I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. If today, while I am yet alive with you, you have been rebellious against the Lord, then how much more after my death?
